Actions
Stopping movie
Create a simple animation with motion or shape tweening in the main timeline. When tested, movie will play continuously.
But our example played only once.
Now we will create Stop script
- Add one more layer to your animation and call it ACTIONS
- Insert a keyframe at the last frame of ACTIONS
- Open Actions Panel selecting Menu-Windows-Actions or hitting F9 shortcut. If you have low screen resolution you may need to minimize Properties Inspector
- Highlight a last keyframe in layer ACTIONS
- In Actions Panel’s left part select Actions folder and open Movie Control folder inside it
- Double click or drag stop() script. It will appear at the right side of the panel. Also the letter a) will appear on the timeline. It means that it’s frame bears the action script. It is convenient to keep all actions in separate layer.
- If you have accidentally created other script you may delete it by highlighting on the right part of the panel and pressing delete button
Test your movie. Animation must stop at the last frame
